PTU Hoppy Easter


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit: PTU kit Hide and Seek by Creative Scraps by Crys HERE

Font of choice I used Sick Capital Vice

Tube: tube of choice, I am using the adorable art work of Lady Mishka HERE
You must have a license to use this tube. 

Mask of choice: I used Vix Mask 363

♥ Let's Get started! ♥
Open layer at 700x700 transparent background.
For the drop shadow on evertying I am using the following settings:
Verticle: 2, Horizontal: 2, Opacity: 46, Blur: 6, color black. (you use what ever you want)
Remember to save as you go.

(*Resize everything before you start copy and pasting)
DNR means Do Not Resize
Paper 6 (resize 72%)
Paper 10 (resize 81%)
Frame 3 (resize 80%)
Element 2 (resize 40%)
Element 3 (resize 52%)
Element 7 (resize 36%)
Element 8 (resize 36%)
Element 22 (resize 46%)
Element 25 (resize 38%)
Element 27 (resize 46%)
Element 30 (resize 32%)
Element 32 (resize 32%)
Element 48 (resize 38%)
Element 57 (resize 60%)

Tube (if using the same tube resize 30%)

You can always refer to the sample for placement of anything! 
Copy and paste 10, add your mask. Merge group.
copy and paste Frame 3. copy and paste paper 6, drag it below the frame layer.  With magic wand
click inside the frame, selections, modify, expand by 4, invert. Hit delete on the paper layer.
Copy and paste the tube above the paper layer. position where you want it and then hit delete again
to remeove any parts hanging outside the frame. Selections, select none. Change the blend on the 
tube layer to LUminance (Legacy), and drop opacity to your liking.
Now the easy part.  Just copy and paste the elements. Using the sample, arrange elements. Remember
to add your dropshadow as you go.
Now paste the tube, I positioned mine so it looks like the bunny is sitting on an egg.
Once you have it the way you want it, crop and resize.  I resized mine to 500. 
Now add your copy right and license info and your name. For the effect on the name, I added an inner
bevel on the following settings:
Bevel 1, width 5, Smoothness 35, Depth 20, Ambience 0, Shininess 0, Angle 315, Intensity 50,
and Elevation 30. 
I used Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow to put the white outline around the name. Add your dropshadow.
Merge visible and you are done!
Simple and easy.  I hope you had fun playing with my kit!

New PTU tut Hide and Seek


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit: PTU kit Hide and Seek by Creative Scraps by Crys HERE

Template: Hide and Seek by Me HERE

Font of choice I used LDJ Jilly Nilly

Tube: tube of choice, I am using the adorable art work of Ed Mironiuk HERE
You must have a license to use this tube.

Mask of choice

♥ Let's Get started! ♥
Open template
For the drop shadow on evertying I am using the following settings:
Verticle: 2, Horizontal: 2, Opacity: 46, Blur: 6, color black. (you use what ever you want)
Remember to save as you go.

Paper 4 (resize 65%)
Paper 6 (resize 65%)
Paper 12 (resize 88%)
Paper 14 (resize 87%)
Paper 15 (resize 87%)
Element 2 (resize 32%)

Element 5 (resize 40%)
Element 7 (resize 50%)
Element 8 (resize 66%)
Element 21 (resize 48%)
Element 22 (resize 50%)
Element 40 (resize 28%)
Element 47 (DNR)
Element 57 (resize 64%)
Element 59 (DNR)

Tube (if using the same tubes DNR)(on close up tube, mirror)

You can always refer to the sample for placement of anything! 
Copy and paste 12, add your mask. Merge group.
copy and paste Element 47. Drag to the bottom right. Duplicate, flip and erase a few of the circles
on the top left side. Place to the top left. As in sample.
Select the top black rectangle, selections, float, defloat, invert. Copy and paste paper 14.
Hit delete. Selections, select none, and delete the black rectangle.  Do the same for the bottom 
black rectangle, using paper 15.
select bottom dark grey rectangle, Selections, float, defloat, invert. Copy and paste paper 4.
Hit delete. Copy and paste close up tube. Adjust in the square. Hit delete. Selections, select none.
Delete the dark grey rectangle.
Do the same for the top light grey rectangle.
Now you can start adding your elements.  Remember the sample is just a guide.  Make it your own!
I used the pick tool to rotate the elements.
To do the effect on the tube, I used the plug in Xero on Radiance.  For the close up tubes, I used 
radiance and Porcelin then I adjusted the blend to Luminance L and dropped the opacity.
Once you have it the way you want it, crop and resize.  I resized mine to 500. 
Now add your copy right and license info and your name. Merge visible and you are done!
Simple and easy.  I hope you had fun playing with my kit!

PTU tut Fairly Irish-Green


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit: PTU kit Fairly Irish-Green by Sleek N Sassy Designz HERE

Font of choice I used Janda Quick Note

Tube: tube of choice, I am using the gorgeous art work of Anna Fesenko HERE
You must have a license to use this tube. 

Mask of choice

♥ Let's Get started! ♥
Open New Raster layer 750x750
For the drop shadow on everything I am using the following settings:
Verticle: 2, Horizontal: 2, Opacity: 46, Blur: 6, color black. (you use what ever you want)
Remember to save as you go.

(*Resize everything before you start copy and pasting)
DNR means Do Not Resize
Paper 1 (resize 88%)
Element 7 (resize 66%)
Element 12 (resize 34%)
Element 13 (resize 42%)
Element 16 (resize 60%)
Element 28 (resize 56%)
Element 37 (DNR)
Element 38 (resize 24%)
Element 39 (resize 46%)
Element 53 (reisze 60%)

Tube (if using the same tube Resize by 24%)

You can always refer to the sample for placement of anything! 

Using 2 shades of green from the kit, make a gradient and flood fill the layer. Apply mask of your choice.
Merge group.
Copy and paste Frame, image, free rotate, right 90 degrees
using the magic wand, click inside each frame, selections, modify, expand by 6, invert.
Paste paper 1 and hit delete. Mirror the tube and then copy and paste below the frame layer, hit 
delete again. Selections, select none.  Using the eraser tool, erase the tube parts that are in the 
bottom frame.  I changed my blend mode to soft light.
Remember to be adding the dropshadows.
From here you can add the elments. See sample for placement of the elements. To rotate anything
use your pick tool and adjust to your liking.  I placed the 4 leaf clovers and the leprechan below
the frame and paper layers.
Remember this is just a guide, so be creative and have fun! If you need to make things smaller, use
the pick tool and make them to the size you want. 
Once you have everything the way you like it, Crop and resize, I resized mine to 600. 
Add your name, to get the effect on the name like I have, follow next steps.
Select the name layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, Modify, expand by 2, add a new 
raster layer and flood fill with white. I added noise.
Add the copyright info, any licenses numbers and merge visible
Save and you're done! Simple and easy.
