PTU tut My Grease Monkey


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit: PTU kit Heavenly Garage by Creative Scraps by Crys HERE

Font of choice

Tube: tube of choice, I am using the HOTT art work of Zlata_M HERE
You must have a license to use this tube. 

Template: My Grease Monkey HERE

♥ Let's Get started! ♥
Open template, resize canvas to 700x700
For the drop shadow on evertying I am using the following settings:
Verticle: 2, Horizontal: 2, Opacity: 46, Blur: 6, color black. (you use what ever you want)
Remember to save as you go.

(*Resize before you start copy and pasting)
Paper 5 (resize 70%)
Paper 6 (resize 88%)
Paper 7 (resize 70%)
Paper 9 (resize 81%)
Paper 16 (duplicate resize one to 54% and one to 74%)
Element 8 (resize 32%)
Element 29 (resize 28%)
Element 41 (resize 38%)
Element 45 (resize 28%)
Element 49 (resize 22%)
Element 51 (resize 12%)
Element 56 (resize 76%)
Element 94 (Do Not Resize)

Tube (if using the same tube resize 56%)
close up tube Do Not Resize. Mirror

You can always refer to the sample for placement of anything! 
We are going to start at the bottom and work our way up, So copy and paste Element 94. Adjust to the
top left as in the sample. Duplicate, and flip. Drag to the bottom right.
Copy and paste element 56. Adjust to the bottom left, duplicate, mirror and flip and then drag up
to the top right corner. Remember to add dropshadows as you go.
Select the grey large circle. Selections, float, defloat, invert copy and paste the larger paper 16.
Hit delete, selections, select none. Delete the large grey circle. Select the grey long rectangle.
selections, float, defloat, invert. Copy and paste paper 9, hit delete. Selection, select none. Delete
the rectangle template. Select long black rectangle. Selections, float, defloat, invert. copy and
paste paper 6. Hit delete, selections, select none. Delete the long black rectangle. Don't forget to
add dropshadow as you go. Select grey rectangle. Selections, float, defloat, invert. Copy and paste
paper 7. Hit delete. copy and paste close up tube,hit delete. Selecions, select none. Delete the gry
rectangle. Select black rectangle. Seletcions, float, defloat, invert, copy and paste paper 5. Hit 
delete. copy and paste tube. With the eraser tool, erase the legs on the bottom that hang out over 
the rectangle. Selections, select none. Delete black rectangle. To give the paper 5 some depth. Duplicate,
Effects, 3D Effects, Cutout on these settings: Vertical 0, Horizontal 0, opacity 100, blur 100, 
Shadow color black, Fill interior unchecked. Click ok. 
Select the small circle. Selections, float, defloat, invert. copy and paste smaller paper 16, hit 
delete. Selections, select none.
Now you just have to add the elements. Follow the sample for placement or each element.  Remember
this is just a guide, you can add or take away as many elements as you want! 
Crop and resize, I resized mine to 500. add your name, I added a white back ground to my name. If 
you wish to do that then follow the next steps...
On the name, selections, select all, float, defloat, Modify, expand by 1. Add a new raster layer,
flood fill with White, Ajust, add noise 74% Monochrome checked. Selections, select none. drag below 
the name, add dropshadow. 
Add the copyright info, any licenses numbers and merge visible.
Save and you're done! Simple and easy.
