FTU Tut Rock Your World

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit: PTU kit Don't Stop the Music by Lacarolita's Designz HERE

Font of choice

Tube: tube of choice, I am using the adorable art work of Elias Chatzoudis HERE
You must have a license to use his tube.

Template by: Dees'Sign Depot and Kandi HERE

♥ Let's Get started! ♥
Open template and delete the info, also delete the beads.
For the drop shadow on evertying I am using the following settings:
Verticle: 2, Horizontal: 2, Opacity: 46, Blur: 6, color black. (you use what ever you want)
Remember to save as you go.

(*Resize everything before you start copy and pasting)
DNR means Do Not Resize
Resize all the papers used at 75%
Cupcake (resize 12%)
Head Phones (resize 16%)
Lips 1 (resize 24%)
Party Flags (DNR)
Ribbon 2 & 3 (resize 58%)

Tube (if using the same tube DNR)

You can always refer to the sample for placement of anything!
So to keep this tut simple and easy, start at the bottom rectangle and for all the elements of the
template do these next steps.  Selections, float, defloat, invert copy and paste paper 5. Hit delete
and delete the template rectangle.  Follow the same directions for the rest of the shapes. On the
rectangle that is diagonal, use paper 6. For the 3 long skinny rectangles, use paper 4 for the top
and the bottom, and the middle rectangle use paper 10. I used paper 9 for the odd shaped circle and the
smaller circle on the top layer. Paper 3 for the larger circle. And paper 4 for the rectangle on top.
Now all that is left is to copy and paste the elements.  I pasted ribbon 3 and moved below the circles
to the right.  I rotated ribbon 2 90 degreees to the right and dragged it below all the layers but the
mask layer. Then I pasted the lips on top of the circle and rotated to the left.  Copy and paste
headphones and using the pick tool, rotate to the right. I dragged it just below the word art.
the last thing is to copy and paste the party flags. Select the circle, selections, select all,
float, defloat, invert and hit delete. Remember to add your dropshadow.
Crop and resize, I resized mine to 500. add your name,
Add the copyright info, any licenses numbers and merge visible
Save and you're done! Simple and easy.
I would love to see what you made!
